Amelia Cotter - Investigator
As a member of The R.I.P. Files team, Amelia brings more than 15 years of experience exploring and studying all things paranormal. Amelia is also an author and storyteller with a special interest in the supernatural, history, and folklore. Her books include This House: The True Story of a Girl and a Ghost, Maryland Ghosts: Paranormal Encounters in the Free State, and the children’s book Breakfast with Bigfoot. Amelia lives and writes in Chicago but is originally from Maryland, where she earned a degree in German and History from Hood College. She is now a member of the Society of Midland Authors. Amelia was also a founding member of the Chicago Paranormal Seekers and is Maryland State Coordinator for the Chicago-based American Spectral Society. A cancer survivor, Amelia appreciates every minute of her “supernatural” career. She shares her love for the many wonders of the world, while hopefully inspiring others to explore it, through her books, stories, poetry, and on- and off-screen appearances.
